Brief info

Tell us about yourself: who are you and where do you come from?

My name is Léna Ruisz, born in Budapest, Hungary, currently living in Vienna.

Tell us about a passion you have besides music and why it makes you feel good.

I like enjoying Hundertwasser’s house and paintings from various artists, drinking a respectable cup of coffee, designing boardgames for my friends or just simply spending the whole day out in the forest. All these activities add some spice to one’s life beside music.

In your opinion, what makes the Komendunesi Festival special?

The connection between artists and local people, the welcoming family-feeling is what I particularly adore. There is no rush; only music, candlelight concerts, Battista’s goat cheese, morning walks and evening wine tastings.

Three things you are looking forward to most about the 2021 edition of the Komendunesi Festival?

Goat cheese, goat cheese, goat cheese (kidding: I can’t wait for the cooking sessions, interesting and lovely concert venues and wine-accompanied rehearsals for the Riflessioni).

What is music to you?

Lots of things: a personal channel to let all my feelings out. Also a type of freedom and a beautiful tool to connect with others.

A quick music menu of your own:

a piece of music to help you get through the day or morning

a piece of music to help you relax

a piece of music that helps you to release anger or tension
